3. Accountability & Professional Standards
Make Loud Noise is not affiliated with any voice teaching associations. The Director previously served a major Australian voice teaching organisation for 7 years, including convening Australia's first Vocology event for voice teachers and innovating the "Fly on the Wall" masterclass format (now adopted internationally), and so much more. Her final act of service was whistleblowing against breaches of the Code of Ethics for that organisation in 2023.
In an unregulated industry where titles like "voice teacher," "vocal pedagogue," or "specialist" aren't protected and Codes of Ethics are non-enforceable, Make Loud Noise holds itself accountable through enforceable frameworks:
Mental Health First Aid accreditations (Standard, Youth, Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander)
Vocal Health First Aid accreditation
APRA AMCOS member adhering to APRA AMCOS Code of Conduct
Live Performance Australia Code of Practice compliance
Australian Privacy Principles compliance
