1. Online Service Requirements
Make Loud Noise uses Zoom for all online sessions. To participate in online lessons, you must meet the following minimum technical requirements:
1.1 Required Equipment:
Device with a working video camera (phone, tablet, or computer)
Device with a working microphone (built-in device microphone is acceptable)
Stable, reliable internet connection meeting Zoom's system requirements
The latest version of Zoom is installed and updated prior to the session start time
Zoom account (free account acceptable) - you must be signed in to use the Original Sound for Musicians feature
1.2 For touring/mobile sessions:
Two devices required: one for video calls, one for audio playback of tracks. Using headphones with a working microphone will enhance the lesson experience for both parties.
1.3 For home/studio sessions:
Computer recommended for optimal experience.
1.4 Session Logistics:
Lessons start on time and cannot be extended due to Zoom updates. Ensure Zoom is up to date before your scheduled session time.
The Zoom link will be provided via email when you have booked and paid for your session. If you have not received it by the day before your lesson, text the Studio on 0431 290 060.
All devices must be charged prior to the session, with chargers available during the session.
Zoom's Original Sound for Musicians must be enabled. Visit Zoom's website for setup instructions.
1.5 Vocal Analysis Software:
At times, vocal analysis software will be used during sessions. Due to internet latency in Australia, you may need to record specific exercises or songs and send the audio files to your teacher in advance. Standard voice recording or voice memo apps on your phone are sufficient.
1.6 Service Interruptions:
In the event of a Zoom or internet service provider outage, a backup method for completing your session will be agreed upon during your first session. Backup options may include: Phone, Messenger, Teams, or FaceTime.
Technical difficulties on the client side do not constitute grounds for refund or rescheduling.
2. In-Person Service Requirements

3.2.5 Repeated Illness: If you are repeatedly unwell, Make Loud Noise reserves the right to request a medical certificate from a GP or Ear, Nose and Throat specialist before continuing lessons.
